Isla Inocentes

Isla Inocentes is an extremely large map based across a multitude of islands. From the Defenders start point, the Attackers can approach in an extremely large number of different ways. Some Attackers choose to grab one of the two UH-64 Black Hawks and take the direct route, though the Defenders initial base has a lot of anti-aircraft equipment, such as mounted machine guns. Engineers are commonly spotted at this base, as their launchers can become a massive aid to dropping a hostile aircraft. Some pilots choose to 'suicide run' for this reason: if large numbers of players are using anti-aircraft, then it's more than likely that the Black Hawk will be taken down as it returns to base, so crashing it into the Defender's island is occasionally effective. Snipers frequently use the ridge, or the cluster of trees across the broken bridge to the west of the initial base. For this reason defence here is commonly involving a Recon character with an 'All Kits' weapon for close-range, such as the SPAS-12 or 870MCS. With this, some Defenders prefer to hide away in the bushes and wait for their prey to get into position. One of the other threats presented here is the amount of aquatic vehicles provided to the Attackers. Patrol Boats as well as Jet Skis can be found here, but generally the Jet Skis are preferred for their speed as opposed to the PBLB's firepower. Of course, if a skilled gunner is on the PBLB it could be allowed to sit in the water while the grenades are used almost as mortars.
Once the first base is cleared out, the second base opens up, and is across the expanse of water where the first base was located. Attackers can travel around to this new locale from three different routes: the water, the previous base, or the road running from their spawn point directly into the small town where the bases are located. Black Hawks are no longer available to the Attackers, so if they have them they have strategically stockpiled them for when the first base is captured. This does not happen often as the majority of players prefer to just jump in and fly than grab the opportunity at a certain time. Point A at the second base was well known to early players of the game, as a glitch with the house it is located in allowed the house to be collapsed instantly through knifing it twice. DICE patched this issue however, and it is no longer feasible. The rock in the water directly in front of the island is occasionally used by snipers, though it provides little in the way of cover.
The third and final base is at a small enemy base. At this base the Defenders can make use of an Mi-24 Hind gunship, which could potentially turn the tables on the Attackers if it is loaded with a suitably talented crew. Both points here are quite difficult for Attackers to capture, as the area is fortified with multiple sniper towers. Generally the front two towers are more commonly used due to the fact they have a better field of view for spotting enemies as they come through the trees. Of course, should an Engineer slip through the trees unnoticed, they can annihilate the tower with a well placed rocket to the base. Generally, this base is regarded as the hardest of the three for the attacking team to destroy, as both locations are deep inside the base, which is well protected. Most player choose to go for the point inside the large structure in the middle first, as it provides more cover. Should enemies be able to knock down respawn tickets too quickly it can be useful to use this base to see whether it is even worth going for Point B, or if your team are being cut down so quickly that it is worth only going for kills at this stage.
Isla Inocentes is Spanish for 'Isle of Innocence', and it contains the M3A3 Bradley, Patrol Boat, Jet Ski, UH-64 Black Hawk, and the Mi-24 Hind.
