Real-World Background: The M4 series of carbines has had its problems while in service with the US military, so Heckler-Koch decided to solve most of the problems of Eugene Stoner's design with the M416. Key improvements on the design involve a gas system borrowed from the G36 action, a system of reliable barrel changing, and a free-floating hand guard. This new AR has seen test trials in sand and water and has performed admirably, reflective of a quality HK product. With its 7.62 M417 brother, this weapon system could very well become the future rifle of the US military.

Notes for Usage: The absolute world beater, the M416 is the most well-rounded AR in the game. Medium damage, higher accuracy, and medium rate of fire. The iron sights offer great sight picture but the front post is a little awkward. The clip will do you well in an engagement, but you should keep watch of it. Full automatic fire is the love of this precision weapon, but past medium range bursting is advised.

Optics: The iron sights are capable, but most people will prefer an RDS. The red dot just makes this guns accuracy extremely lethal. ACOG is very effective as the guns recoil is easily manageable, but as with most guns it works well at longer ranges.

Prime Environment: Semi-Urban (Example: Base 4 on Port Valdez)
