Real-World Background: What has been called revolutionary with respect to Kalashnikov's legendary design, the AN-94 was produced during the Abakan trials in hopes of being Russia's new assault rifle. The key development lies in the guns internals and has to do with the guns recoil. When in 2-round-burst mode, both bullets are fired in such a way that the blow-back mechanism doesn't recoil backward until after the second round is fired. This makes the gun extremely lethal, virtually putting 2 rounds on the same spot within 6 hundredths of a second. Coupled with the "poisonous" 5.45x39 round and the AN-94 becomes one of the most lethal weapons in modern day.

Notes for Usage: Great on defense, the AN-94 lets you reach out and touch someone. High damage, high accuracy, and lower rate of fire. The iron sights work well for the gun, especially when your engaging targets at longer ranges. This clip almost never run out in a fire fight. Bursting is your only option, but if you have to get up close than burst as fast as you humanly can.

Optics: Most people use an RDS (one can presume because of the campaign), but the iron sights will do the job. ACOG is an extremely lethal option for the AN-94 and can even challenge snipers to duck and cover.

Prime Environment: Open Expanses (Example: Base 1 on Arica Harbor)
