Patrol Boat

The patrol boat can facilitate a crew of 4 players, armed with two 20mm automatic grenade launchers - one on the front and one on the rear of the boat. The boat has good maneuverability and is reasonably fast; but cannot quite match the speed of the smaller personal watercraft. The boat is good for insertion on water-based maps because of its fire power and ability to hold a crew of 4 players on-board.

The weaknesses of this boat are all types of mobile rocket propelled grenade launchers and mounted launchers, which can destroy the boat in 1 or 2 hits, depending on where the boat is hit. Another weakness is the player exposure, there is no cover from small arms fire whilst on the boat, so you can easily become the target of a sniper or a player using a heavy MG - with little or no protection on the water.

This type of water-based vehicle can be found on Isla Inocentes.

Personal Watercraft

This, small, watercraft is designed to carry 1 or 2 players quickly into combat across a water-based map. It is high-speed and very maneuverable making it useful and tactical to insert quickly into an enemy occupied territory. It does not facilitate any weaponary, but if 2 players are present on the watercraft, the player (who is facing to the rear) can use their own firearm from their loadout.

The weaknesses of these again are small arms fire, the players are very exposed when on one of these watercrafts. It is much more difficult to hit with a rocket propelled grenade however, because of its smaller size and abilty to move much faster than the patrol boat.

This type of water-based vehicle can be found on Isla Inocentes and Laguna Presa.
